About this campaign
Many people in the San Bernardino knew Ruth Chastain. In Vermont and Ingram Elementary school she was their beloved Miss Ruth. She was well known and loved in the community. Her heart was huge and she helped all those she could, mentoring children, volunteering at Blake Little League, having a huge family, both by blood and adopted. She gave freely of herself never asking anything in return. In November of 2015 she began a battle with Liver cancer. On February 25th 2016, she lost that battle. Her family is asking you to give all that you can in order to take the financial burden off them in order to bury her (she did not believe in cremation) and hold her funeral services. Since her family is on limited income, we need all the help we can get. Thank you and you are appreciated.
