March 20, 1947 - January 24, 2019
Sharon A. Jocko, 71, of Syracuse passed away on Thursday.
Born of the Mohawk Wolf Clan in the Akwesasne Mohawk Territory, Sharon moved to Syracuse in 1952. She lived the remainder of her life in Syracuse surrounded by family, spending many years as a homemaker. Sharon was predeceased by her parents, Margaret Tarbell and Thomas J. Hall, by a sister Hazel Hall, and by her brothers Harry and Randy Hall. Sharon is survived by her children, Albert, Sheree, Eric, Stephen and Amy; by her grandchildren and great grandchildren; by brothers, Peter, Gabriel “Gabe”, and Thomas Hall and by her sisters, Irene Hall and Lucille Mitchell. Calling hours will be held Sunday, January 27th, from 3:00 - 6:00 pm at Carter Funeral Home, 1604 Grant Blvd., Syracuse. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday 9:30 am at St. Lucy’s Church, 432 Gifford St., followed by burial in Onondaga Valley Cemetery. Online condolences at CarterFuneralHome.com
